Beauty pageants offer young women a platform to showcase not only their charm and grace, but also their, style, intellect, poise and charisma. Such avenues remained absent for the teenage girls because of absence of organizations or regulatory bodies that could help them fulfil their dreams. This led a group of motivated entrepreneurs to evolve the idea of hosting a talent show every year for the young girls and the result was “Nanhi Pari” – a talent show for teenage girls.

About The Founder

Positivity is the best way to sustainable success

Prof. Achyuta Samanta is an educationist, humanitarian and a statesman. He grew up in Kalarabanka, Odisha amidst severe poverty with seven siblings and a widow mother. He managed to complete his Masters, struggling and braving the hardships from the age of four when he lost his father in a train accident.

He founded a polytechnic institution while he was working as a Chemistry Lecturer in 1992 with $100, iron will and strong passion. The small industry training institution grew into a University in 2004, known by its acronym, KIIT, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. In the same year, he also founded Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) for providing education to the indigenous boys and girls, free of cost. Read more

My greetings from the other hemisphere of the world! Crowned second runners-up in the 2010 Nanhi Pari, Little Miss India, a decade has swiftly passed. Those transformative days at KIIT shaped my vision, fostering conﬁdence for public speaking. Now a Software Engineer pursuing a Masters at the University of Michigan, Nanhi Pari's lessons keep me grounded. I won the Little Miss India Nanhipari title in the year 2012 when I was in grade 7. Little Miss India Nanhipari helped me in many ways to shape my personality. It gave me exposure to develop a new perspective of thinking. It provided me with a platform where I met people across India and learned about their traditions, culture, habits, and lifestyle. It boosted my conﬁdence. I am forever grateful to be a part of this Nanhipari Parivar.

Born in 2003, my passion for dance, fashion, and anchoring led me to KIIT Nanhipari 2014. Selected for the ﬁnals, three days at KIIT International School felt like a cultural exchange. The well-planned competition, resembling Miss India, ended with my ecstatic selection as the 2nd Runner's Up. Cherishing the memories, I express gratitude to the organizers. Now a Woman International Master in chess, I extend wishes for success to KIIT NANHIPARI 2023.

Saina Salonika

Participating in KIIT Nanhipari 2019, I secured the 2nd Runner-up title, and later, I was honored as Miss Teen Divine India. A district-level yoga artist and basketball player, I believe success arises at the intersection of preparation and opportunity. Embarking on fashion shows with no background, I found joy and resilience. Though initially falling short, I persevered and became Nanhipari 2016. This transformative pageant instills values of experience, competition, and unity. Five years on, I'm treated as a daughter, pursuing management at KIIT with a scholarship. Recently crowned Miss Super Model Worldwide Asia 2022, Nanhipari's inﬂuence shaped my journey, making me a diligent, powerful, yet grounded individual. It's a testament: a winner never gives in.
